Before the streetwear kids knew him as owner of SLB in LA, Sal Barbier was a professional skater. And a damn good one too. In my opinion, he has the most iconic skate shoe ever. Remember the Etnies with the 23 on the side? Those things were buttery. Plus he founded one of the dopest skate companies of the past, Aesthetic skateboards. Not to mention a board company called twenty3 that had Jason Dill and AVE on it? Enough said! This man is a legend and has done so much to progress what we all love.
