Jordan brand skate shoe

This is some pretty exclusive news. Every other skate site won't be posting this for a very long time (Unless they cop it from curiculum). Anyway, the rumor mill has been spinning around quite sometime about Michael Jordan's brand doing a skate shoe program. Rumors have it that Antuwan Dixon would be on it, but no official word yet of him repping the jumpman. But yes, the rumor is true.

Many of you may be thinking Nike already has a skate shoe program. This is true. However... Jordan is a separate brand under Nike so they do their own thing. In the YouTube clip you'll be watching Gentry Humphrey. This is the Jordan brand footwear director. In the clip he talks about Jordan brand doing a line called FlipSide. The shoes will be inspired by the Jordan III. Probably one of the most recognizable Nike shoes people skated back in the day. He talks about the footwear line and getting help from Stevie Williams. Could this mean the end of DGK and Reebok? Only time will tell. Skip to 4:02. Everything else is pretty damn boring unless you're a sneaker head. Hmmm, wonder how they'll do as a skate shoe company.
